Chemical Industry ETP — RRR ENVIRO SYSTEMS

Chemical Industry Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)

Turnkey solutions for neutralization, toxic organics, solvent-bearing streams — Capacities: 5 KLD to 300 KLD

Why specialised treatment is essential for chemical effluent

Chemical process effluents can contain corrosive pH, high COD, toxic organics, solvents, phenolics, heavy metals and salts. A reliable ETP integrates neutralization, physicochemical separation, targeted biological processes and specialised polishing or destruction (AOP) to achieve regulatory limits or prepare feed for ZLD units.

Overview — Chemical ETP (5–300 KLD)

Our chemical ETP packages are engineered for safe and effective handling of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial streams. Typical features include raw wastewater segregation, neutralization, chemical precipitation, oil/solvent separation, advanced oxidation (AOP) for refractory organics and polishing with UF/RO or activated carbon. ZLD integration is available for high-salinity or zero-discharge requirements.

Capacity flexibility: 5 KLD — 300 KLD. We strongly recommend sample analysis and pilot testing for solvent-bearing or highly toxic streams prior to final design.

Suggested Process Flow (Typical Chemical ETP)

Segregation & Collection (acidic/alkaline/solvent streams)
Screening & Grit Removal
Oil & Solvent Trap / Phase Separation
Equalization & Dosing (pH correction)
Coagulation / Chemical Precipitation
Primary Clarifier / DAF (if required)
Biological Treatment (MBBR / SBR / ASP)
Advanced Oxidation (AOP) for refractory organics
Filtration (Sand / UF) & Activated Carbon
RO Polishing / Brine Handling (for ZLD)
MEE / ATFD / Crystallizer (ZLD option)
Sludge Handling & Safe Disposal

Critical: For solvent or toxic organics, integrate source separation + AOP / adsorption. Pilot trials are recommended to size AOP and RO pre-treatment correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can you treat solvent-bearing rinse water?
A: Yes — but solvent streams usually require source separation and either solvent recovery (distillation) or adsorption + AOP. Pilot tests determine the best approach.

Q: What about toxic organics & phenolics?
A: AOP (O3, UV/H2O2) followed by biological polishing and activated carbon is effective. We recommend pilot trials for sizing and dosing.

Q: Do you provide ZLD solutions?
A: Yes. For high TDS / hazardous salts we integrate UF→RO→MEE/ATFD and crystallization depending on site economics.
