MBR Membrane Modules & SUF — Capacity Selection Guide (10 KLD → 100 KLD)

Technical specs, module counts, flux, air scouring and P&ID integration. Use this page to select SUF/MBR modules for your project's flow and request pricing.

Why MBR / SUF Modules?

Membrane Bio-Reactors (MBR) combined with Submerged Ultra Filtration (SUF) modules deliver extremely fine solid-liquid separation (pore size ~0.06 µm), high-quality permeate & compact footprint. Ideal for reuse, ZLD pre-treatment, and tertiary polishing after conventional ETP/STP.

Where to use MBR / SUF Modules

  • Municipal & apartment STP tertiary polishing (toilet flushing, gardening)
  • Industrial ETP polishing & ZLD RO pre-treatment
  • Hospitals, hotels, food processing for high quality reuse
  • Retrofit with existing aeration tanks + SUF module skid

FAQ

Q: How do I pick the right module for my plant?
A: Start with daily flow (KLD). Pick the capacity row that is ≥ your required KLD and review flux & air requirements. Contact us for pilot testing if feed is foul or high TSS/TDS.

Q: What is air scouring?
A: Continuous or intermittent air scouring prevents membrane fouling — datasheet gives typical air m³/h per module stack.

Q: Can MBR modules be backwashed/chemically cleaned?
A: Yes — the modules support routine backwash (timing per vendor) and periodic chemical cleaning (NaOCl) as per datasheet.
